Masons got talent

Who needs “Britain’s got talent” when you`ve got “Masons entertaining Masons “

During the close season the Bootle group held the “Masons entertain Masons” evening at Litherland Masonic hall for the second year running

This event allows gifted masons to demonstrate their skills in the art of entertainment.
This could be anything form singing, playing an instrument, poetry, magic, telling jokes, origami and even playing the spoons.

The event organiser Colin Shannon stated “although numbers were slightly down due to the world cup, the event went very well , everybody seemed to enjoy themselves as they had done the previous year as well as raising £150.00 for Masonic charities”.
Colin added “It is hoped that next year the Bootle group will collaborate with Southport and make the event even bigger “

Although not likely to threaten the “X” factor all entertainers got three yes`s for effort and well done to all those who took part.
Several have asked me to keep them informed if “Simon Cowell” rings. To date I have not had a call.
